The Otto

Every year Fastaval awards golden plaster penguins to the best new roleplaying games and boardgames in several categories. For 23 years, the awards have been helping to drive the innovation and ambition behind the many fantastic scenario and game productions that Fastaval can proudly present each year.

Otto has a long and proud heritage. It was awarded for the first time in 1992, and is named after a supporting character in the scenario Ulloq nunaqarfinnguagaluami (“A day in a small dead village”), that was run on the 3rd Fastaval ever in 1989.
