What is Fastaval?

 Fastaval is the largest convention for Roleplaying, boardgames and cardgames in Denmark. Every year during easter 4-600 young people of all ages meet in Aarhus to play all kinds of games and meet old friends. Fastaval has established itself as a main convention in Denmark, Scandinavia and even the world as a creative melting pot of novel new ideas for games of all sorts - as well as also featuring a solid range of more classic game experiences.

 

Sunday Banquet

Sunday evening the whole convention goes into party-mode and celebrates its own awesome by handing out awards, thanking the volunteers and dancing all night.

 

Loads of activities

Fastaval 2010, even more so than previous years, features a lot of roleplaying games, board games, miniature games and just plain odd fun. The newspaper Fasta Morning is in itself a larp, that produces the daily smear. More than brand new RPGs are presented, tabletop and larp combined, from our big network of devoted authors and we have even made an effort to get more international visitors this year - so expectations are sky high!

 

Gamemaster

30 brand new RPGs also means that we need a big host of game masters to actually make this whole thing happen. We are trying to train golems to do the job, but artificial creativity has a longwayuet to go - until then: we need you to sign up! It counts as a GDS (Danish for DIY (DoItYourself)) job and you also get a discount of 30dkk per game you master.

Wednesday: Check in 8pm

Thursday: Games run from 9am to 02am

Friday: Games run from 11am to 02am

Saturday: Games run fom 9am to 02am.

Sunday: Games run from 9am to 1pm. The Banquet starts at 7pm

Monday: We pack up, clean up and leave.
