All nominations are reviewed, after which Information selects one winner and a number of honorable mentions. The award is officially presented during the Otto Show on Sunday evening, where the recipient is presented with the Golden Plunger as a special recognition of their efforts.  <\/p><h3 class=\"\" data-start=\"1006\" data-end=\"1039\"><strong data-start=\"1010\" data-end=\"1037\">The motivation behind the award<\/strong><\/h3><p class=\"\" data-start=\"1040\" data-end=\"1502\">Fastaval is run by volunteers, and without the commitment of the participants, the event would not exist in its current form. The Golden Plunger is a tribute to those participants who make a difference by taking responsibility, stepping in where needed and strengthening the community through their helpfulness.
