Fastaval’s main organizing committee is the driving force behind each Fastaval event.<\/p>\n

They act as coordinators for all of Fastaval’s other organizing areas and make practical decisions about pricing and locations, but they must also be visionaries on behalf of the convention.<\/p>\n

The organizing committee is led by the General, who appoints the other members. The General is appointed by  Alea’s<\/a> board, which is again appointed by a general assembly. Typically, the group is formed just before or after Fastaval and works from then on to create the next Fastaval. The General is often announced at Fastaval the year before they are to serve as General.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Here you can meet the main organizers of Fastaval. They hold online meetings approximately every other week throughout the year and meet for three organizer weekends, where more important topics are discussed. <\/p>

The various members of the group each have specific areas for which they are responsible. On this page, you can see who is responsible for what, as well as find contact information for the members. <\/p>

Mikkel’s Fastaval adventure began in 2018, when he helped with the setup, and since then he has gotten hooked and has only organized more. As both a screenwriter and youth coordinator, Mikkel has had a wide range of responsibilities at Fastaval, so it was only natural for him to step in as the main organizer in 2024 and later as general manager. For Mikkel, the Fastaval community means the most. Fastaval is a truly unique place where you can meet up with friends from near and far. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The year 2011 was Maj’s first Fastaval, and the following year she began her journey as an organizer at Fastaval. Here, she has been very involved in the practical aspects of dishwashing and the kitchen. Last year took on a new angle when Maj joined the main organizing group. Last year, one of Maj’s interests was the hidden areas, and this is definitely still an area that needs to be focused on. <\/span><\/p>

Otherwise, Fastaval for May is a place where people meet to share their common interest in role-playing and board games. A place where newcomers and old-timers alike have something exciting to contribute. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

2026 will be Selina’s third year at Fastaval. As a newcomer and young person, she was inspired by the lively and welcoming environment that Fastaval provided for her, and in her second year she became particularly involved as one of the youth leaders. Selina loves the way Fastaval allows you to test your limits and improve as a person, through the social setting that Fastaval is, and through the intense emotions that you can get from the board games and scenarios. But most important to her is that it can all take place in a safe and cool way, so that everyone can join in. <\/span><\/p>

Selina also hopes that she will have time to play a few scenarios and squeeze in a board game and a cup of cocoa when she is not wearing the orange ribbon.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Ingrid has been involved in Fastaval adventures since 2019. As a scenario writer, responsible for youth, the scenario competition, and more, Fastaval has only encouraged her to give even more back to the community that embraced her in 2019 and the years to come. As one of this year’s main organizers, Ingrid is looking forward to doing this to an even greater extent! <\/span><\/p>

Jost attended his first Fastaval in 1993 and fell head over heels in love with the convention. Since 1996, he has been part of the team behind the scenes as a scenario writer, organizer, and\/or board game designer. <\/span><\/p>

For Jost, Fastaval is the place where the community gathers and new and old friends meet and are constantly amazed by what our media can do.<\/span><\/p>

When Jost isn’t organizing Fastaval, he works at a board game caf\u00e9 in Copenhagen and has a hobby project as a photographer for live scenarios and other role-playing conventions. He is also co-host of a film podcast. <\/span><\/p>

Mads’ Fastaval journey began in 2018, and since then he has been an integral part of the community, both as a passionate live role-player and as a volunteer on the IT front, where he has helped strengthen the convention’s digital foundation. For him, Fastaval is much more than code; it is a gathering place for gaming fun and great experiences across generations, where both he and his family participate every year. <\/span><\/p>

He is passionate about creating a safe and inclusive Fastaval, where there is room for everyone, whether you are a hardcore nerd or just there for the fun.
