In the end it all comes down to the will to survive. In the beginning you think that it’s simply about being willing enough. Later, when it is too late, you think it is about regretting. But really it’s all about moving on, isn’t it?

A case about trafficking that no one wants to touch. A picture of a girl no one wants. A locked shed on the island of Amager that no one owns. A small bureau of ambitious people from Jutland who will do anything to get their breakthrough and get a foot inside in the Copenhagen market.

The story goes back and forth between the present and the future. On one trail, five colleagues cross the Bridge to pursue a case that could potentially give them huge publicity. On the other trail, they are back in Jutland, many years later, with the file case from back then in Copenhagen, to see what the hell went wrong.

’Trails’ is the story about the case that destroyed them.
