Game master workshop

Will you be a game director at Fastaval 2026? Thank you so much for your time. It’s a huge help and we really appreciate your time and commitment.

This year, we’re repeating the success of last year with a workshop before Fastaval.

The workshop will take place on our Discord server, and therefore online. This is because we are holding the workshop on Monday before Fastaval. We do this to give you game directors more time to spar with each other and the writers, and hopefully provide more peace of mind and a greater understanding of the task of playing.

The workshop falls into two parts. The first is about general tips and suggestions for running scenarios at Fastaval. In the second part, we will invite this year’s authors so you can ask them questions directly.

Once you have signed up as a game master, you will receive a link to the Discord server and workshop along with the scenario. We hope to see many of you!
