On the red planet Mars, in the temple of the wargod Ares, an army of skeletons dance a mosh of violence to heavy metal riffs. A spaceship filled with downtrodden and furious soldiers near the planet, sent by the corprostate to investigate a mysterious signal from the deep, and maximize profit. From a loudspeaker the Suit emphasizes that Heavy Metal is strictly forbidden.
These are just some of the roles you will play in Skeletons on Mars, a stoned action-comedy about violence, silly skeletons and heavy fury at the company which sealed the soldiers’ fate. It involves narrative play, where you continuously switch between many different roles in a tightly run scenario.
The Scenario is a celebration of bone-chilling stoner-metal, and feels like playing through an epic music video.
