The world has gone silent, but on one frequency, memories still live on. In this scenario, you are both the voices in the dark and the lonely listeners calling in as the threat draws closer. A cinematic, music-driven narrative about saying goodbye to a world that is already gone.

In this melancholic slice-of-life drama, you play the last voices in a silent world. You take turns playing the DJ at the wasteland’s final radio station and the listener calling in from the dark. Through your conversations, you collaboratively build the story of what happened to the world and who we are now.

Music is the central engine of the scenario. You select songs via physical cards, which are played in the room to dictate the mood of the scenes. A pop song might become the sound of nostalgia, while a ballad heralds the end.

The game experience is quiet, improvised, and atmospheric, focusing on relationships rather than action. Be prepared for a tragedy: We are not playing to survive the threat, but to create the most touching farewell before the signal inevitably fades.

Content notes

No happy endings

Type of participant:

For those who love storytelling games and improvisation. You must be an active player willing to drive scenes and take the lead as DJ or caller. The scenario requires you to capture the mood and build upon a story that often lies between the lines.

Type of game facilitator:

This scenario is almost GM-less in its form, so your role is primarily that of a facilitator. Your main task is to manage the time, ensure everyone gets a chance to speak, and help handle the playlist so the music supports the scenes.
