ANTDROMEDA is a ‘mega game’ where players control ant colonies exploring the galaxy. Build your colony, gather resources, and build spaceships, all while trading and planning with other players. With a unique real-time timetrack system, the game unfolds over about 50 hours where you can come and go as you please, allowing for long-term planning and cooperation. It won an Otto for Best Innovation at Fastaval 2025 and was runner up for the Audience prize.

Come and learn how to dance Bachata. We start from scratch, so everyone can join in. Bachata is a partner dance, but you don't need a partner to join in, as we switch partners during the course. We start with 1 hour of instruction, followed by 1 hour of bachata music, where you can try dancing what you have learned.

Blood on the Clocktower is a social deduction game in the style of Werewolf and the like, but with far more depth and interaction. The game combines lies, hidden information and cooperation, where both good and evil players have influence even after death.

Poor accessibility isn't just when the text is in a green, curly font on a red background. It's also when cards have to be turned the right way up to read their values. Or when the text is really small and has to be readable from a distance. When the icons look alike or don't make sense. When your attention is naturally drawn to the wrong places. Or when it takes 30 minutes to sort the game components and the game itself is over in 5 minutes.

Paula Deming shares her thoughts and insights on making comedy videos about playing board games, how to make a game look fun on camera, and the trials and tribulations of the entire internet being able to see when you get a rule wrong. The audience will work together to create an idea for a sketch video and have a chance for a short Q&A.

The aim of Fastaval Re-allocation is to activate the geeky stuff, which is out there and sadly collecting dust. It is a place, where people can come and give their books, live weapons, boardgames and more away for free, with the gentleman’s agreement, that you cannot ever sell it for profit afterwards.

Mega Civilization is a boardgame for 5–18 players, where you experience humanity’s earliest civilizations across a time span of roughly 8,000 years — from the Ice Age to the Iron Age.
