Figure painting competition

Do you want to challenge your painting skills and show off your painted figure? Then participate in the Fastaval Figure Painting Contest!

The goal is to paint the best looking figure. Both aesthetics and technical skills are assessed. There are no categories and you choose the type and size of your figure (though figures on standard 25 mm bases are recommended).

The introduction is obligatory

Wednesday: 18.30-19.00

Introduction to the competition, review of rules, and Meet & Greet with the judges.

The figure is checked here and may be assembled and primed, but not painted.

Thursday-Friday

Free play. You decide how much time you want to spend painting and how much time you want to spend on other Fastaval activities.

Saturday

Painting can continue until 6 p.m., after which the figure must be submitted for judging.

About the competition:

• A maximum one figure pr. Participant will be accepted by the judges.
• It is allowed to put the figure together and prime it beforehand.
• The judges will choose a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and the judges will be available during the competition and answer questions.

Practical information

If you do not have a figure yourself it is possible to buy one at location for 30 dkk.

It is adviced that you bring your own paint and brushes. If it is not possible or very bothersome it can be loaned/bought at Fastaval for an additional 30 dkk.
