ALEA is the association behind Fastaval, and its goal is to hold the best possible Fastaval. Many people don’t know this, but ALEA plays a major role in holding and running Fastaval year after year. While the General and the main organizers focus on the individual Fastaval, it is ALEA that has the long-term plans and is constantly working to future-proof the festival.
Fastaval functions as a large machine, consisting of many different organizing areas. Each area has one or more area leaders with a number of organizers under them. In addition, each area has a main organizer contact person associated with it.
Fastaval’s volunteer community consists of approximately 250 organizers of all ages, ranging from 15 to 60 years old, with an average age of approximately 31. This makes the volunteer community a diverse and inspiring environment to be a part of.
