The Immortals is a story about four different immortals, who through three acts attempts to become mortal once again. None of them remember what happened before they became immortal, though they still share the same common goal. But what happens when they remember the things they forgot so long ago? Why did they become immortal, and which consequences will it have if they give that up?

The players, as each of the immortals, lives through three eras of a hundred years. The game will primarily consist of a variety of scenes, where the players get the chance to explore the characters, their weaknesses and relationships. Between each act, the players themselves get the opportunity to develop parts of the small mountain town they live in, and show how it changes as the years pass. Through the events of the story, the characters gain a greater understanding of who they are, and have been. The focus lies on concepts like change, loss, and different aspects of life.

Player types:

You enjoy calm and atmospheric stories, and you love co-creating worlds. You enjoy acting on character relationships, and you're ready for a bit of improvisation. You're comfortable with freedom under some limitations, and enjoy being a part of a story, even if you can't necessarily decide how it ends.

Gamemaster type:

You are good at setting up atmospheres. You can say yes to the ideas of the players, but also help remedy the parts that work against the flow of the story. You can set up scenes for the players, and be sure to end them when appropriate. You don't have anything against playing NPC's, and you enjoy co-creating an ever-changing world.
