In Constellatoria players compete to be the first to fill in a scoring card based on zodiac signs. To fill in their scoring cards, players must make tricks by placing cards and using their constellation-altering effects.

However, altering the night sky comes at a cost. Each card played has two different colors on it and advancing your own game, also helps your opponents. The deciding factor is who is better at placing cards and using their effects.

Constellatoria is an abstract trick-taking game with few and simple rules, which can be taught in less than 5 minutes and plays for 10-20 minutes.

About the designers

Anders Gerlev Hansen
Anders was an Infonaut for more than 10 years, with 3 as Infoboss. The best thing about being an Infonaut, is to facilitate fun for others and creating board games can achieve the same goal. In 2023 Anders and Julius made Potato Patrol for Fastaval, after years of participating in Game Rush. Anders likes to play games such as Spirit Island, Deep Rock Galactic and The Crew.

Anders splits his games into two categories: Those allowed in the living room and “The Cupboard of Shame”.

Julius Larsen Seerup
Julius has participated in Fastaval since 2007 and been an organiser in The Information among other areas. He has always had a love for the creative arts, first as a scenario writer and later as a participant in Game Rush for several years, culminating in Potato Patrol in 2023. Outside Fastaval Julius also works with game design, where he has organised “build-a-boardgame” classes for school students and programs game experiences. Julius often plays board games such as Journeys to Middle Earth, Aeons End and Magic Maze.

At home his board game shelf is organised in a coordinate system with weight (rules complexity) on one axis and playtime on the other, sorted by size using a custom app with box size data from BGG.
