The king is obsessed with constant change in his garden. Everything must be frequently altered – one day a lawn, the next a flower bed. It's impossible to satisfy the pedantic king, and the situation only worsened after the royal gardener died of stress. You and the other garden assistants now only have a stack of sketches to work from. Whoever best realizes these plans will become the new royal gardener.

The King's Garden consists of a series of cards laid out in a rectangle on the table. Each player also has two cards on their hand, and on your turn, you place one of them on top of the existing cards in the garden, thus changing it. The other card represents a sketch from the deceased Royal Gardener, and you earn points by identifying and marking places in the garden where a similar pattern appears. You have limited time and if you overlook something, rest assured that the others will find it and take the credit.

The rules are straightforward, but mastering this game requires good visual perception and quick overview.
